Stork Prints today announced that it will concentrate the manufacture of textile rotary screen printing equipment at Stovec Industries, its Indian subsidiary based in Ahmedabad. Sales and service for India will be done by Stovec itself whilst the sales and service for the rest of the world will continue to be done through the Stork Prints group sales network.
Stovec Industries has a long history of manufacturing textile rotary screen printing machines. The decision was reached after a period of intensive investigation into the different options for transferring the manufacturing base of these printing systems to Asia.
The talks between Stork Prints and Fong's Industries Co. Ltd. on setting up a joint venture for this purpose have by mutual agreement been stopped.
